Conejo Valley Community Park & Botanic Garden.

Lake Piru Recreational Area.
Located next to the Sespe Condor Sanctuary, the Lake Piru Recreational Area offers visitors excellent boating, trout and bass fishing, camping, water skiing, swimming and hiking. The day-use picnic area with individual and group sites includes covered eating areas with a wonderful view of the lake, a grassy lawn, grills, and an abundance of tables. 4780 Piru Canyon Road (805) 521-1500

Chesebro Canyon.
Enjoy hiking throughout the canyons and grasslands. Picnic areas too. Trail maps are available. Open daily sunrise to sunset. Chesebro Road (818) 597-9192


Paramount Ranch.
Dress those kids up in cowboy duds and visit the western town once used as a movie set. Guided tours are available. Enjoy hiking, picnicking and the scenery. Check for special events and tours. Open daily 8 to sunset. Cornell Road (818) 597-9192

Troutdale.
Beginner fishermen will enjoy this woodsy setting with two small ponds. Bamboo fishing pole and bait are included in the price of the entrance fee. Open Mon-Fri, 10-4; Sat-Sun, 9-5. 2568 Troutdale Dr. (818) 889-9993
