Beyond the malls, the Valley is home to numerous outdoor shopping centers as well as specialty shops. Canoga Park's Antique Row, for instance, contains a number of vintage stores selling everything from jewelry to classic furniture. There are plenty of bargains to be found along the Row, located on the 21500 block of Sherman Way, but just window shopping is also fun. This is a particularly good place to search for fashions from bygone eras.
Venture Boulevard, which stretches the length of the South Valley, has an abundance of wonderful shops and restaurants. You can walk along the boulevard in Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Tarzana or Woodland Hills until your legs give out, then take a break and have a meal at any of the top-rated eateries that line the street.
